On July 12, the completion ceremony for the new main building of Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University Hospital was held, and the “Haniwa Promenade,” featuring haniwa figures produced by our company, was also unveiled.
Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University Hospital has been advancing its comprehensive hospital reconstruction plan leading up to the university's 100th anniversary in 2027. The Central Surgical Building was completed in 2016, the Kansai BNCT Joint Medical Center in 2018, and the New Main Building A Wing in 2022. Now, with the completion of the New Main Building B Wing, the hospital held its grand opening on July 22.
Our company produced and installed a total of six haniwa figures in the Rest Plaza (Shihou Plaza) and in front of the Kansai BNCT Joint Medical Center. Inspired by haniwa from the Imashirozuka burial mound—a cultural asset associated with Emperor Keitai, who is said to have lived an exceptionally long life and remained active throughout his reign—we developed the “Haniwa Promenade.”

This “Haniwa Promenade” embodies the hospital's philosophy of wishing health and longevity for all. Rooted in the community and practicing “warmth is the best medicine,” it serves as a place of healing and relaxation where visitors can experience Takatsuki's history and culture, enjoying a peaceful moment during their visit to the university or hospital.
We hope it will become a beloved and memorable landscape for patients, their families, and the local community.
