A ceramic board works produced in collaboration with our company will be exhibited at Taka Ishii Gallery in Roppongi, Tokyo, in the solo exhibition "Green Sun and Lotus root-shaped Moon" by Yoichi Umetsu, which opened on September 10, 2012.
 
This exhibition featured more than 30 drawings of various sizes and 9 ceramic board works, mainly ceramic works, which Mr. Umetsu has been newly focusing on in recent years. Our staff members made suggestions for ceramic materials and glazes with characteristics that would express his image, and the work was completed with a different evolution from last year's.

Mr. Umetsu is an artist born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1982. He has been presenting his works mainly in the form of paintings, drawings, and video works based on his own subjects, and since 2021, he has been living in Shigaraki-cho, Shiga Prefecture, where our factory is located, and creating many ceramic works. In the same year, a work produced in collaboration with our company was exhibited at the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, and was well received by many people.
