This monument was erected as a commemorative project to replace "Imayamadaisi Festival (Odaishi-san) 180 Years-Festival Event-", which was canceled due to the new coronavirus that spread all over the world.

The Imayamadaisi Festival is said to have started in 1840 with the origin of the plague prevention, and in order to convey the importance of "gratitude and prayer-entertainment-" to posterity through the origin of "Odaishi-san", a manga drawn by Mitsunori Shiiya, a manga artist from Nobeoka City, is printed on a ceramic board.
