Opening of SOMPO Museum of Art / Touchable Gogh’s “Sunflowers”

2020/07/27

Seiji Togo Memorial Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Museum of Art has been reborn as the Sompo Museum of Art and opened on July 10.
In the front yard of the museum, a copy of the original "sunflowers" made by us is installed as an art landmark, and you can actually touch and feel the size and brushstrokes.

Many people have taken photographs with "Sunflowers" on the ceramic panel since the opening day, and we hope that you will become familiar with it as a new way to enjoy paintings.

The opening memorial exhibition "Selected Works from the Collection: The Glow of Life and Joy of Artistic Creation" is being held inside the building, and the actual "Sunflowers" drawn by Van Gogh is on display.

Please take a look at the "sunflowers" on the ceramic panel and the real "Sunflowers".
